Schifferstadt, Maryland

Standing on 1110 Rosemont Ave, Frederick, MD is the Schifferstadt house that is open for tours and visits for everyone – even for those coming in on a rented Maryland bus. If this is your first ever fist to Frederick, MD, you should really not miss a trip to visit the beautiful house built in German style – and it comes with beer being served too! Come, have a glass of beer as you listen to the tour guide share the history and the architecture of the home that were built using the innovations that were used back in the 1700s.

Getting down from the MD rental bus, you will find the surroundings of the place rather peaceful and serene – surrounded with big trees and neatly cut grass. Depending on the day and time that you arrive at this place, it could be a busy and crowded time or just a day where you only find a couple of other visitors. However, whatever the time and day that you would choose to visit, it is still an interesting place to go visiting. And if you are one who prefers to plan things way ahead of time, why not plan a trip here to the Schifferestadt in MD for Christmas this year? During Christmas each year, the whole house is decorated beautifully with re-enactment of what it was like during the very first Christmas; with fire on the fireplace as well.

And if you enjoy drinking beer, another good time to visit the Schifferstadt, MD, would be in October when the Octoberfest takes place. Annually, on the third weekend of October, this traditional celebration of Octoberfest features a beer tent, German food, cultural activities plus colonial living history demonstrations with fun activities for children too. During the Octoberfest, the grounds of Schifferstadt is free for visitors to come and enjoy between 10 o’clock in the morning until 5 o’clock in the evening on Saturdays, while they are open from noon till 5 pm on Sundays.

If this is going to be your first trip in a MD rented bus to the Schifferestadt, be sure to bring your cameras with you so that you can capture some of the beautiful moments while you are there. Surely you don’t want to come home with just gifts from the gift shop from the house and not have the photos to accompany your memories of the trip, right?
